3D Environment Artist

Paradark Studio is an independent studio from Kraków working for nearly 3 years on their first title called ExeKiller, a AA action adventure FPS with immersive sim elements set in a semi-open, retrofuturistic, post-apocalyptic world where cyberpunk meets western.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Environment Artist / 3D Artist
• Proficiency in one of the programs: Blender, Maya, 3D Max (or equivalent)
• Proficiency with Adobe Substance 3D Painter and Designer
• Ability to create next-gen environments from scratch with good optimization
• Skilled in using trimsheets, texel density, and vertex painting
• Practical knowledge of Material Layers and Material Layer Blends (MLB)
• Ability to design and create modular assets
• Good knowledge of UE5
• Good command of English
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of version control systems (Perforce)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Houdini and procedural approaches
• Knowledge of Blueprints
• Knowledge of PCG (Procedural Content Generation)
• Experience creating organic assets and vehicles

• Create 3D models including props, buildings, and environment elements based on concepts, moodboards, and guidelines
• Create materials and textures
• Collaborate with the art director/Lead 3D Artist, Technical Artist, and Level Artist
• Solve technical problems
• Ensure technical quality of assets including proper collisions, naming, and material settings
