Software Developer (Java)

Astro Network Management team is developing the on-prem, cloud-based and hybrid Network management applications for Astro Mission Critical customers. They are responsible for development of a Next Generation System Management suite built for ASTRO radio systems.

• Proficiency in modern Java (21+) with Spring Framework.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Knowledge of cloud principles, preferably Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control (Git) and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL is a plus.

Nice to have:

• Network fundamentals.
• Linux fundamentals.
• Scripting skills.

• Develop and maintain on-prem, cloud-based, and hybrid network management applications.
• Collaborate within the team to keep codebase clean and well-organized.
• Participate in discussions about new technologies, tools, and solutions.
