Business System Analyst

• Knowledge of methodologies for requirements gathering and preparation of functional and quality specifications for IT systems.
• Minimum three years of experience in IT projects for the banking/financial industry.
• Practical experience in business process specification, functional and quality requirements, data modeling, and system integration.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• English language proficiency at B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience in development of payment systems such as Elixir, Express Elixir, Sorbet, SEPA, Target.
• Knowledge of system architecture patterns (Enterprise Integration Patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, microservices, REST).
• Familiarity with exploration techniques: Event Storming, Domain Story Telling, User Story Mapping, Example Mapping.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) at strategic level.
• Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Knowledge of GIT.
• Familiarity with Diagram as Code and Model as Code techniques.
• Knowledge of test strategy and automation.
• Ability to read code at basic level.
• Ability to utilize AI for work optimization.

• Developing and maintaining payment reconciliation systems for the Polish and European markets.
• Gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Preparing specifications for functional and quality requirements as part of system analysis.
• Collaborating with internal team members and external teams (IT, Business) during solution design.
• Managing changes and ensuring quality and consistency of documentation.
• Verifying implementation compliance with specifications.
• Preparing test scenarios.
• Acting as a proxy Product Owner in the payments domain.
