Senior Embedded Simulation Engineer

We are working for one of the biggest electronics manufacturers in the world, focusing on delivering new firmware for their devices used in large datacenters globally. The work is done mainly remotely with occasional office presence required in Katowice or Warszawa. The project involves international teams and small team settings with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Gerrit, and GIT.

• Proficient experience with C++.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience with simulation tools such as QEMU or Renode.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of storage concepts.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Experience with PCIe, JTAG, debugging techniques.
• Understanding of NVMe, hardware modeling, C, and UART.

• Design and develop high-performance virtual platforms and Electronic System Level (ESL) models to drive architectural exploration and software development of storage devices.
• Create robust, cycle-approximate and transaction-level models of enterprise storage devices.
• Work as a liaison between hardware architects and software teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.

Candidate should have opportunity to appear in office in Katowice or Warszawa once a week. Work involves coordination with US-based team, requiring evening availability a few times a week.
