Software Security Backend Engineer

Mindbox is a tech-driven company connecting top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. This position involves joining the client's team to help shape a next-generation Software Security platform for a global financial institution, focusing on cybersecurity with open-source, cloud-native security services built in-house and running at enterprise scale.

• Deep expertise in Python (Django) and/or Node.js (TypeScript/Nest.js) with experience delivering production-grade services.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, and Filestore.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Ability to design scalable backend services in Go.
• Experience optimizing PostgreSQL for high concurrency.
• Knowledge of OAuth2/OpenID Connect and practical experience with Zero Trust security models.
• T-shaped engineering profile with broad full-stack understanding and deep backend expertise.
• Passion for automation, engineering excellence, and continuous learning with active code delivery to production.

• Own the full lifecycle of services on GCP ensuring resilience, observability, and cost-efficiency.
• Design and manage OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows with a security-first mindset and implement Zero Trust models.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and emphasize automation to reduce toil and enhance secure delivery.
• Mentor team members and build engineering communities to improve quality and efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends including Go, Rust, and TypeScript.
