Business Analyst -Tax Technology

Awareson Sp. z o.o. is developing a global technology product focused on tax processes and compliance in an international environment.

• Experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role.
• Practical knowledge or professional experience in the Tax domain.
• Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements for IT teams.
• Experience working with software development or product teams.
• Familiarity with user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Very good command of English.

Tax Knowledge:

• Experience with VAT.
• Experience with CIT / Corporate Income Tax.
• Knowledge of tax compliance, tax reporting, tax calculation, and other tax-related processes.
• Knowledge of European tax regulations is highly valued but not mandatory.
• Experience focused on the Polish market, including Polish VAT or CIT, is welcome.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Tax Technology or Tax Software.
• Experience working with Tax Compliance, Tax Reporting, or Tax Calculation systems.
• Knowledge of tax regulations across multiple European markets.
• Experience working on global products or enterprise-scale solutions.
• Previous experience in an international environment.

• Analyze and document business and tax requirements for a global software product.
• Work closely with business and tax stakeholders to understand processes, regulations, and business needs.
• Translate tax-related requirements into clear functional requirements for development teams.
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
• Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Analyze existing business and tax processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and other business and technology teams.
• Manage competing requirements and support prioritization.
• Ensure that solutions meet relevant business and tax requirements.
• Consider differences between countries and regulatory environments when working on global solutions.

Dane osobowe będą przetwarzane do czasu zakończenia postępowania rekrutacyjnego i przez okres możliwości dochodzenia ewentualnych roszczeń, a w przypadku wyrażenia zgody na udział w przyszłych postępowaniach rekrutacyjnych - do czasu wycofania tej zgody. Zgoda na przetwarzanie danych osobowych może zostać wycofana w dowolnym momencie. Odbiorcą danych jest serwis Just Join IT oraz inne podmioty, którym powierzyliśmy przetwarzanie danych w związku z rekrutacją.
