Backend Developer (Python, Databricks)

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience programming backend in Python
• Practical and documented experience building software using distributed services on Microsoft Azure
• Practical knowledge of Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog and Azure Serverless components
• Familiarity with backend frameworks FastAPI and/or Django
• Experience designing and optimizing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Production experience with Docker
• Knowledge of SQLAlchemy, including ORM, session management, queries, and data modeling
• Ability to implement asynchronous and scheduled background jobs using Celery
• Strong knowledge of relational databases
• Understanding of best practices in code testing (unit, integration, E2E)
• Experience with software deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Git version control and working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Communicative English language skills

• Design, develop, and maintain stable and scalable backend services written in Python
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Develop cloud software using distributed services on the Microsoft Azure platform
• Work with Azure Databricks, including usage of Unity Catalog and Azure Serverless components
• Design, deploy, and manage complex cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate tests and deployment processes
• Use Docker containers in production environments
• Utilize SQLAlchemy for data modeling, querying, and database access
• Create and maintain asynchronous and scheduled background tasks using Celery
• Actively collaborate within an Agile / Scrum team, participating in code reviews, work planning, and system architecture discussions
