ERP/SAP System Architect

We are searching a ERP/SAP System Architect in the area of Asset / Investment Management & Leasing. This role is based in the ERP & Business Solutions division, which delivers future-ready, enterprise-scale digital foundations across our global landscape.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration.
• Proven track record designing business-driven solutions within complex enterprise ERP environments.
• 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar lead role within SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep domain expertise in Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management.
• Experience in heavily regulated environments (e.g., Pharma, Biotech) with exposure to GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV), and GDPR.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in business English.
• Knowledge of modern delivery frameworks (Agile, SAFe), enterprise management tools (Jira, ServiceNow), integration/middleware patterns.
• Experience with multi-cultural onsite-offshore collaboration models.

• Drive engineering maturity by mentoring an agile team of consultants and developers in modern clean-code principles and sustainable architectural design.
• Actively coach team members through architectural reviews, design discussions, and continuous feedback.
• Design and guide maintainable, standardized solutions grounded in clean-code principles within an agile setup across SAP S/4HANA.
• Engage in granular technical discussions with developers to drive complex integrations.
• Act as a technical advisor evaluating business requests to balance business goals and IT stability.
• Partner with Global Business teams, Business Value Stream Leads, and Product Owners to translate complex Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management requirements into actionable SAP S/4HANA proposals.
• Drive the delivery of reusable, discoverable, and well-governed Data Products tailored to a regulated pharmaceutical landscape.
• Embed compliance with GxP, GDPR, FDA, EMA regulations, and Computer System Validation (CSV) into the architectural lifecycle.
• Enforce data classification, access control, and traceability to keep solutions audit-ready.
• Shape the long-term technical vision for the Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management domain.
• Evaluate new technologies, integration frameworks, and SAP S/4HANA ecosystem enhancements to prevent technical debt and support future business and regulatory needs.
