AI Product Engineer (Mid/Senior)

Tidio is a customer service platform leveraging AI to help businesses scale efficiently while maintaining a human touch. Their product, including the AI agent Lyro, serves millions of users globally and the company currently employs over 150 people. The ML team was among the first worldwide to launch an AI customer service agent and the product is recognized among Top 50 AI and Customer Service Products in G2’s 2024 awards.

• Technical specialization in frontend, backend, ML, or infrastructure; familiarity with Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript is sufficient
• Daily hands-on use of AI tools such as Cursor AI, Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity with a focus on spec-driven development
• Ability to resolve ambiguity and communicate directly with clients and stakeholders
• Builder mindset with preference for shipping over process debate
• Strong business acumen and product impact understanding
• High autonomy and self-management in a fast-changing environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with high-volume traffic or enterprise clients
• Side projects with in-depth architecture and decision discussions
• Experience in relational databases, agent development, or agent orchestration/harnesses

• End-to-end feature ownership from client interaction, scoping, development, shipping to production monitoring
• Develop integrations and distribution channels for the AI agent
• Enhance the agent capabilities including context engineering, tool-use optimization, prompt caching, and evaluation modules
• Work across the full stack regardless of specialization
