Solution Architect

The FCU Technology team at PwC Polska consists of over 100 IT specialists focused on providing innovative technological solutions, data analytics, and consulting services for global clients in the financial services industry, particularly addressing Anti Financial Crime areas such as Anti Money Laundering and financial sanctions compliance.

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in senior IT roles, including at least 4 years as a Solution Architect.
• Deep architectural knowledge of the .NET stack.
• Practical experience with public cloud platforms in a PaaS model, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing distributed, scalable SaaS systems.
• Experience collaborating with non-technical product owners and managers.
• Experience working with development teams including developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.
• Ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
• Capability to own the full software development lifecycle.
• High self-organization.
• Very good communication skills in English (C1) and Polish.
• Strong interpersonal and soft skills for client and team cooperation.
• Knowledge of new technologies and AI-based tools in daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content creation).

Nice to have:

• Hands-on .NET development experience.
• Experience with the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) model.
• AML/KYC domain knowledge.

• Design new functionalities for an evolving internal and client-facing platform.
• Own and develop the target architecture, including cloud-native and SaaS transformation roadmaps.
• Prepare architecture decision records, solution design documents, and technical specifications.
• Define and verify non-functional requirements such as scalability, performance, availability, and observability.
• Design systems for multi-tenancy, data isolation, and regulatory compliance.
• Set and enforce technical standards, patterns, and reference implementations across teams.
• Act as technical design authority reviewing team designs and implementations.
• Evaluate and select technologies, cloud services, and third-party integrations considering cost impact.
• Support business stakeholders in validating clear and feasible business requirements aligned with product goals.
• Design APIs and integration contracts for internal and external services.
• Conduct proofs of concept and technical spikes to mitigate risks of major changes.
• Manage technical debt and drive modernization of legacy components.
• Provide insights on development processes and technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
