Principal Engineering Manager (FYUL)

FYUL is a high-growth, print-on-demand platform that connects e-commerce merchants and print-on-demand manufacturers, with over 6 million users starting their own eCommerce businesses. The company operates through 24 loosely coupled squads specializing in various expertise areas, such as Demand Integrations, Growth, Order, Payments, Supply, and Product Presentation. FYUL product teams are cross-functional, self-sufficient, and highly autonomous, working closely with Product Managers and Designers. The team consists of over 600 members from more than 20 countries.

• Significant experience leading engineering teams within a product company.
• Strong track record of delivering complex products or systems in fast-moving environments.
• Comfortable operating in both technical and product discussions.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to clarify ambiguous situations.
• Experience partnering closely with Product and Design.
• Clear communication skills with a practical, execution-oriented leadership approach.
• Experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design), Microservices architecture, and AI.
• Proficient in PHP and related technologies such as Symfony.
• Familiarity with CQRS (Nice to have).
• Exposure to AWS cloud services (Nice to have).
