Senior IT Auditor (m/f)

Medicover is hiring a Senior IT Auditor to work primarily at their Warsaw headquarters with a hybrid work model. The company operates in the healthcare sector and provides comprehensive private healthcare programs.

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related areas.
• Minimum 3 years IT audit experience with a risk-based and process-oriented focus, including Internal Audit experience in regulated environments.
• Must meet all formal UKSC requirements/criteria for IT auditors in light of NIS2 auditing.
• Experience in financial services, especially insurance, and healthcare provision is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, ITIL are highly desirable.
• Experience in managing a small project team and working independently as well as coordinating with outsourcing service partners.
• Knowledge of IT frameworks including COBIT, ITIL, NIST, and ISO standards.
• Understanding of DORA and NIS2 requirements.
• Advanced English language skills required in addition to Polish.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 15-20%.

• Developing IT audit function and methodologies.
• Conducting IT risks assessment for internal audit planning.
• Conducting IT risk-based audits including DORA, NIS 2, and other relevant compliance verifications.
• Executing and documenting all audit process steps: planning, scheduling, preparation of working papers, reporting initial results to management, and drafting high-quality audit reports.
• Formulating clear, objective, and relevant conclusions and practicable recommendations.
• Reporting IT audit results to management and obtaining their sign-off.
• Following up on action plans to ensure timely mitigation.
• Building and maintaining internal relationships with key stakeholders.
