Architekt Systemowy / Principal Architect (k/m)

• Experience as Principal Engineer, Senior Architect, Tech Lead, or comparable role in large production systems.
• Completed at least one production system migration across two or more major Java versions with regression and rollback plan.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8 and newer versions (17/21/25), Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Advanced PostgreSQL skills including execution plans, locking, transactions, WAL, replication, and connection pooling.
• Practical experience with Kafka or similar streaming and event-driven architecture.
• Willingness to enforce standards and reject solutions increasing technical debt.
• Experience with telemetry systems, IoT, or near-real-time processing.
• Knowledge of modular monolith architecture and CQRS.
• Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience working with legacy systems lacking documentation and tests.
• Practice with coding agents.
• Ability to read and analyze C++ code integration with Java.
• Knowledge of JVM performance optimization.
• Experience with observability, OpenTelemetry.
• Knowledge of TimescaleDB.
• Experience designing Data Access Layer and optimizing SQL, JPA, JDBC.
• Knowledge or experience migrating legacy technologies such as JSF / PrimeFaces or comparable.

• Technically lead modernization of legacy system and design new system architecture.
• Design and conduct migration from Java 8 to Java 25 including modernization of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA with replacement of outdated libraries.
• Develop phased migration strategy with regression control, rollback plan, baseline, and performance measurements.
• Migrate PostgreSQL 12 to PostgreSQL 18 and design telemetry data layer based on TimescaleDB.
• Rebuild Data Access Layer.
• Build regression control mechanisms.
• Develop and enforce architecture, API, and technology decision standards.
• Make key architectural decisions and mentor the team.
