Senior AI Engineer Subcontractor | Ukraine

US Deloitte Technology Product Engineering develops digital products for Deloitte’s businesses, service lines, and internal operations. The team focuses on scalable engineering, modern delivery practices, continuous learning, and measurable business outcomes. You will work in a cross-functional environment with product, engineering, experience, and delivery professionals.

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI, or Machine Learning, including at least 2 years with Generative AI
• Strong Python skills and experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, vector databases, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation
• Familiarity with platforms and tools such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Databricks, or LangChain
• Strong knowledge of software design, data structures, algorithms, SQL, and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile practices
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field expected; Master's degree is an advantage

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions
• Translate business needs into technical designs and high-quality code
• Contribute to architecture, development, testing, integration, deployment, and production support
• Build solutions using LLMs, AI agents, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation
• Create prototypes to validate technical ideas and customer value
• Ensure the scalability, security, quality, and maintainability of solutions
• Apply Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native engineering practices
• Review code, mentor engineers, and contribute to technical standards
• Collaborate with product, engineering, delivery, and customer teams
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to different stakeholders
