QA Automation Engineer

Senior Browser Automation / Web Scraping Engineer role focused on long-term projects for data acquisition and structuring from demanding external sources within complex and variable web environments.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in browser automation and web scraping.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and significant experience with Playwright (or Puppeteer, Selenium).
• Practical skills to navigate dynamic service barriers, including anti-bot and session authorization challenges.
• Capability in engineering automation debugging, including handling timeouts and race conditions.
• Experience in parsing and normalizing data into structured formats.
• English proficiency at C1 level in spoken and written forms.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with Temporal and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD best practices.
• Practical use of AI models (LLM-assisted automation) in automation.
• Experience in healthcare industry projects or regulated environments.

• Design stable, failure-resistant browser automation and web scraping processes delivering reliable data with evidence (screenshots).
• Overcome challenges in dynamic web environments, including unstable selectors, anti-bot mechanisms, CAPTCHA, session authorization, and legacy/government sites.
• Diagnose issues such as timeouts and race conditions and implement retry mechanisms.
• Parse and normalize data from HTML, files, and API responses into structured formats.
• Develop tests, deploy monitoring solutions, and continuously support changes from external services.
