Senior Data/PowerBI Engineer

Entrada AI is a specialized consulting partner and a strategic portfolio company of Databricks Ventures. The company provides direct access to product roadmaps and private previews for engineers and focuses on solving complex architectural challenges rather than quick fixes.

• 4+ years experience in Data Analytics/BI with at least 3 years of intensive Power BI development.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks environment (Non-Negotiable).
• Experience with Genie.
• Knowledge of Star Schema implementation and Medallion data architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in writing complex, performance-tuned DAX (iterators, filters, and time intelligence).
• High-level English proficiency (C1+) for managing stakeholder expectations and leading multi-vendor technical discussions.

• Manage and tune high-scale models (10M–70M rows) for sub-second performance beyond standard Import/Direct Query.
• Lead migration of complex WebFOCUS reports to Power BI, reconstructing legacy business logic.
• Write, test, and deploy production-ready DAX measures and calculated columns ensuring accuracy and performance.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) for complex financial access patterns and manage CI/CD deployments via Jenkins and BitBucket.
• Act as lead consultant translating business requirements between business stakeholders, UX designers (Figma), and Databricks engineers.
• Take responsibility for BI data chain performance tuning, optimizing Delta Lake tables (V-Order, partitioning, compaction).
