Python Developer with React

Our mission is to deliver value across the end-to-end supply chain in pharma by dramatically increasing the visibility of product quality conditions and location while minimizing waste through a completely new category of automated Cold Chain as a Service® solution. With experience in monitoring safe COVID-19 vaccine distributions, Controlant empowers customers to achieve greater efficiency by automating business processes and optimizing communication and collaboration through technology. The Platform Extensions team consists of 6 members and is responsible for Controlant’s device life cycle management, monitoring solutions, device logistics solutions, as well as customer and third-party device integrations.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar, or experience in Software Development.
• Highly experienced with using AI tools (particularly Claude) to enhance coding productivity, problem-solving, and development workflows.
• Experience in Python.
• At least basic knowledge of front-end technologies, especially React.
• .NET experience is a big plus.
• Experience with AWS is a big plus.
• Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously.
• Good written and spoken English.

• Translate product and technical requirements into functional, high-quality deliverables.
• Design and implement features or components by following established architectural standards and engineering best practices.
• Participate in requirement refinement, technical design discussions, and team planning.
• Independently deliver features or solutions from design through deployment, with support when needed.
• Collaborate with team members, Engineering Managers, and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business goals.
• Conduct reviews such as code reviews, test plan reviews, hardware design reviews, and infrastructure changes; contribute to shared team standards and documentation.
• Monitor and maintain systems or solutions in production/operational environments, including software services, data pipelines, hardware devices, and infrastructure platforms; participate in incident resolution as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across tools, workflows, and solution quality.
• Guide and mentor associate developers by providing technical direction, code reviews, design feedback, and support for their professional growth and development.
