DevOps Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer

One Bayt is a ~40-person development team based in Wrocław. For over 10 years, they have been developing Eliot, their proprietary system for managing employees and operational processes. They serve companies from Poland and Germany in sectors like care, property service, and merchandising.

Must have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, System Administrator, or similar.
• Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD.
• Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps, especially YAML pipelines.
• Experience in deployment automation.
• Experience working with Docker.
• Experience in configuration and maintenance of services on servers/VMs.
• Knowledge of Windows Server or Linux.
• Good knowledge of Git.
• Ability to diagnose problems end-to-end from application to deployment to environment.
• Independence in task execution from requirements to working solution.
• Ability to cooperate with infrastructure administrators and developers.

Nice to have:

• C# / .NET / .NET Framework knowledge.
• Configuration, deployment, and upgrade of Apache Kafka.
• Knowledge of Redis.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of SQL Server.
• Experience with Traefik (reverse proxy, routing, load balancing).
• Experience with Komodo.
• Experience with IIS / ARR.
• Experience with Seq / GlitchTip or similar logging, monitoring, and error handling tools.
• Experience with PowerShell / Bash.
• Experience with Linux / Docker Compose.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform or similar infrastructure automation tools.
• Experience designing and implementing zero-downtime deployments.
• Experience with rolling deployment / blue-green deployment.
• Experience with Playwright / automated tests as part of pipelines.

DevOps / Infrastructure / Delivery:

• Develop, maintain, and restructure existing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML).
• Automate deployments of applications and infrastructural services.
• Improve deployment processes towards more automatic, repeatable, and secure deployments.
• Develop deployment mechanisms for zero downtime deployments.
• Prepare environments according to application and development team requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure administrators to prepare VMs, networks, access, storage, and environmental parameters.
• Independently configure services like Apache Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and other system components.
• Prepare CI/CD for infrastructural services to ensure controlled and repeatable updates and upgrades.
• Configure and maintain Traefik as a reverse proxy/load balancer and route configuration.
• Automate operations related to deployment, configuration, and environment maintenance.
• Use Docker and Komodo for managing containers and services.
• Monitor and analyze errors using GlitchTip and Seq.
• Develop and standardize pipelines, templates, and environment configurations.
• Collaborate with developers to prepare infrastructure for new modules and services.
• Identify and eliminate manual deployment steps.
• Prepare infrastructure for further containerization and migration to Linux.
