Project Manager

Altimi is a technology acceleration partner with over 20 years of experience, based in Poland. They specialize in delivering software development projects for international customers, primarily operating in the DACH region and Scandinavia. Their main areas of competence are Product & Application Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Security & Managed Services, and AI & Data Enablement.

• Led at least 2–3 implementations of booking-class or ERP systems in-house, ideally tailored to organizational processes.
• Experience replacing legacy systems with poor data quality, including data analysis and controlled cutover.
• Independent experience running vendor selection processes (RFP preparation, evaluation, contract negotiation).
• Experience breaking large systems into phases and defining MVPs delivering business value.
• Ability to engage operational teams to understand actual workflows.
• Experience running change-control procedures on long-term projects.
• Experience protecting company interests in custom software projects (source code rights, documentation, SLAs).

Nice to have:

• Experience with IT projects involving multiple external parties and integration challenges.
• Familiarity with travel, hospitality, or inbound B2B tourism industry concepts.
• Experience working directly with founder-owners.
• Good communication skills in German or English.
• Experience managing organizational change and user resistance.

• Document current processes and requirements with an external process-mapping and automation partner.
• Identify shared and distinct processes across business units.
• Prepare RFP, collect and compare vendor offers, and select the contractor.
• Negotiate contracts including safeguards such as code ownership and acceptance criteria.
• Manage project schedule and budget, report deviations.
• Run formal change-request procedures quantifying time and cost impacts.
• Inform leadership and team about budget and timeline impacts of changes.
• Coordinate the internal team's work.
• Sign off on project stages against acceptance criteria.
• Manage change and user adoption.
• Document the solution.
• Work hybrid with at least partial presence at the Kołobrzeg office.
