Senior Site Reliability Engineer II

• 7+ years of professional experience preferred for Senior Engineers
• Knowledge of SRE and observability standards (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, incident management, on-call)
• Engineering experience in JVM stack
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code tools, and troubleshooting distributed applications
• Proven delivery of reliability, monitoring, and container management solutions
• Deep knowledge of Linux, focusing on system hardening and performance troubleshooting
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Golang or Python
• Experience managing and troubleshooting SQL and NoSQL database systems (plus)
• Understanding of networking standards: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing (plus)
• Ability to design resilient data access and leverage database observability
• Strong English communication skills, ability to coach and influence engineers

• Cooperate closely with Platform and Engineering teams on reliability and observability initiatives
• Improve, automate, and expand observability and reliability tooling (metrics, logs, traces, alerting)
• Respond to production incidents and lead remediation
• Partner with product engineers using Java, Node.js, and Python to design and operate services with SLIs/SLOs and error budgets
• Create reusable dashboards, alerts, libraries, and Infrastructure as Code modules
• Mentor engineering team members and advocate for modern SRE and observability practices
• Document standards, best practices, and policies for monitoring, alerting, incident response, and reliability
• Conduct capacity planning and performance testing
