AI Engineer (Azure)

Shimi is recruiting for an international project focused on building cloud-native data and AI solutions using Microsoft Azure services.

• 4+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering focusing on Microsoft Azure infrastructure and AI workloads.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Practical knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, RAG architectures, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure AI Services (Speech, Vision).
• Strong understanding of Azure security, governance, compliance, and operational best practices for AI and cloud workloads.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting/programming.
• Good command of English (B2/C1).
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Nice to have:

• BSc/BA degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer, Azure AI Engineer).

• Design and implement cloud-native data and AI solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Manage and enhance Azure-based environments to ensure high performance, security, and scalability.
• Integrate AI and data solutions with Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third-party systems.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of cloud workloads using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable cloud architecture.
• Promote operational excellence, security, and compliance across all AI engineering processes.
