Senior Data Scientist

P&G Scaled Data Science Hub in Warsaw works across algorithmic investments related to Retail, Media, Digital commerce, R&D, Supply Chain, Productivity, and Knowledge management. The role involves ownership of algorithmic model needs within a business space, initially focusing on Human Resources processes. The Warsaw Hub develops algorithms at scale impacting P&G's employees and global consumers, supported by a 200+ global Data Scientist team.

• Master's degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Economics) or Bachelor's/Engineer degree with relevant experience.
• 4-5 years experience in production-grade Data Science and algorithmically enabled applications.
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes.
• Proficient coding skills, especially in Python and Spark.
• Strong technical and analytical skills including SQL, optimization, simulation, and predictive modeling.
• Proven leadership, problem solving, prioritisation, and collaboration skills across teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Big Data ecosystem: Databricks, Spark, BigQuery.
• Basic understanding of Business Intelligence tools like PowerBI, Tableau.
• Experience with Agile DevOps tools such as Github, Jira, Confluence.

• Partner with product teams and business leaders to understand problems and collaborate with AI & data engineering teams to automate and deploy models.
• Develop insights to steer the algorithmic evolution roadmap in assigned area.
• Analyze and model on large datasets translating consumer behaviors into actionable recommendations.
• Apply machine learning techniques and algorithms to solve business problems.
• Advance understanding and application of machine learning, statistics, optimization, and GenAI.
• Build and maintain resilient algorithmic pipelines ensuring impact and value.
• Write production-grade code adhering to best practices.
