Technical Product Manager - AI Investing App

In 2019, it built the first mobile-first insurance platform in Southeast Asia, now the region's leading platform. The company is expanding its financial services to include spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travelling, aiming to leverage AI technology to help users become financially self-reliant. It operates globally with more than 20 nationalities on its teams, working remotely and from offices.

• Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgement under ambiguity.
• Solid technical foundation in system design including boundaries, datastores, workflows, APIs, failure modes, and concurrency consistency.
• Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based AI products and defining evaluation metrics including offline, online, and human feedback.
• Nice to have: engineer or highly-technical-PM background; zero-to-one product experience; shipped AI-heavy consumer products; defined eval metrics for ML/LLM systems; AI UX and failure handling intuition; Southeast Asia market experience.

• Own a vertical end-to-end product with prioritized backlog and clear acceptance criteria.
• Shape technical design covering system boundaries, money-movement correctness (including idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation), third-party rail reliance, failure/retry/refund paths, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
• Make and defend trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX with engineering, compliance, and operations leads.
• Treat regulated constraints as integral product inputs including licensing scope, CDD/KYC limits, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, and privacy.
• Apply AI by defining decision authority, human-in-the-loop points, evaluation methods, and failure handling.
• Ship features behind flags and launch per partner and regulatory gate clearance.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance/Reconciliation teams.

This is a remote role with a distributed, fast-moving international team across multiple countries and time zones. English language proficiency is required.
