Junior Business IT Consultant (Manufacturing, German)

The Business & Technology Solutions (BTS) department supports clients in manufacturing by designing, planning, and conducting digital transformations, acting as a bridge between business objectives and IT solutions.

• Experience related to manufacturing, particularly machinery, pharmaceutical, or automotive industries.
• Familiarity with the software development process and basic IT architecture concepts.
• Participation in rollouts of IT systems.
• Knowledge of Digital Manufacturing, Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0, Shop Floor Integration, and Edge Computing.
• Experience with IT systems supporting production and logistics such as MES, SCADA, ERP.
• Knowledge and experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Good communication skills and ability to engage with colleagues and clients.
• Proficiency in German and English languages.
• Analytical thinking skills to analyze processes and propose business-focused solutions.

• Taking part in consulting, transformation, and roll-out projects for clients.
• Supporting organization and moderation of meetings and workshops with clients’ representatives to understand business challenges and collect requirements.
• Analyzing, modeling, and identifying improvements in business processes and IT systems to propose changes and optimizations.
• Cooperating with clients, technology experts, and development teams to design new technology solutions or changes in existing IT systems.
• Participating in defining requirements and creating specifications for new or transformed IT environments.
• Supporting presentations and discussions on proposed solutions.
