Fullstack Java Developer

In the scope of The Financing and Transactional Banking division (GBTO/FTB) of Global Banking and Investor Solutions, the IT department supports, maintains, and develops the Information System for Digital and Transversal Offers. The Information System consists primarily of in-house modules developed with Java and deployed on the SG Cloud platform, with a planned migration to Azure. The role is dedicated to integrating into a Feature Team as Senior Software Engineer on VAN (virtual account) / VOP (Verification of Payee) & SBA (Search by Account) applications in an Agile environment.

• Experience as a mid-level software developer or software engineer specializing in Java
• Knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, JPA, REST API, Angular, SQL, Kubernetes, and Cucumber
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Sonar, and Kibana
• Mindset geared towards continuous improvement
• Practice of Software Craftsmanship including Clean Code, pair programming, TDD, and BDD
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Fluent English communication skills
• Team player with ease in communication

• Understand business requirements and define technical solutions
• Design innovative solutions compliant with architectural recommendations and production requirements (SLA)
• Develop code applying Software Craftsmanship best practices and quality standards
• Deliver product increments regularly
• Ensure production quality with extensive testing including TDD, BDD, and automation
• Formalize and perform unit and end-to-end tests before Go-lives
• Act as a technical referent for modules owned by the Feature Team
• Build and maintain technical documentation
• Ensure Level 2 production support under the principle "You build it, you run it"
• Participate actively in continuous improvement activities
