Ework Group is recruiting for an architectural role focused on microservice systems design with a significant coding component in Java. The company emphasizes building web systems with microservices architecture and distributed system experience.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing and building (web) systems.
• Very good knowledge and practical production experience in Java.
• Experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of architectural and integration patterns.
• Experience in API design and system integrations.
• Proficiency in Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with code reviews, mentoring, and leading technical teams.
• Experience in cross-team collaboration and technology decision-making.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• English proficiency minimum B2.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases (SQL, query optimization).
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience with end-to-end observability.

Nice to have:

• Basic/practical knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI / AI in SDLC (automation, architectural decision support).

Technical Leadership and Development:

• Act as Tech Lead in Scrum teams, supporting and guiding technology direction and architectural decisions.
• Active programming in Java to implement business requirements.
• Design and develop system and microservice architecture.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and business to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Define and enforce technical standards (coding, architecture, integrations).
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code and solution quality.
• Mentor and develop developers' competencies.
• Support the team in solving technical problems.

System Architecture and Integration:

• Design and oversee integration of systems and APIs.
• Ensure solution performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other Scrum teams, architecture, DevOps, and integration teams.
• Participate in technology decisions and risk assessments.
• Utilize cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and Agentic AI in development processes.
