Senior Product Manager - Core Experience

Must-haves:

• Proven product management experience with shipped impactful software in fast-moving environments.
• Builder mindset: entrepreneurial, hands-on, and able to iterate quickly from problem to shipped product.
• Excellent product and UX judgment with ability to simplify complexity.
• Technical fluency in APIs, integrations, authentication, schemas, data flows, and system constraints.
• Strong product discovery skills to understand user needs and focus product decisions.
• Data fluency in defining success metrics, investigating behavior, and combining evidence.
• AI-native product thinking with active use of modern AI tools and understanding of AI-powered product challenges.

Nice-to-haves:

• Developer product experience.
• Experience with integrations involving third-party APIs, authentication, and developer platforms.
• Community or open-source product experience.
• AI product experience with LLMs, agents, and AI platform capabilities.
• Experimentation experience using prototypes and incremental releases.
• Cloud/SaaS product experience regarding reliability, scalability, security, and enterprise requirements.

• Identify and solve high-leverage problems across the workflow-building journey to improve usability, speed, and power.
• Turn complex capabilities into polished, intuitive product experiences with Design and Engineering.
• Continuously enhance how users create, configure, debug, and evolve workflows focusing on usability, performance, and reliability.

Reduce friction from first workflow to production:

• Shorten the path from idea to working workflow by improving setup, configuration, connectivity, and access to external services.
• Shape experiences that make AI models, web search, integrations, and other services immediately useful while managing complexity.
• Balance simplicity with transparency and control for advanced and business-critical use cases.

Shape the foundations of a powerful builder platform:

• Define product experiences and platform capabilities to keep n8n flexible and extensible without unnecessary complexity.
• Improve builder interaction with integrations, data, credentials, schemas, reusable capabilities, and emerging standards such as MCP.
• Partner with Engineering and developer-facing teams to scale across services, use cases, and technical users.

Drive product outcomes through discovery, data, and leadership:

• Engage deeply with customers, community, and internal teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities.
• Define product bets, success metrics, and priorities using quantitative and qualitative evidence.
• Lead cross-functional teams through clear decisions, communication, and ownership of outcomes.
