Senior AI/ML Engineer

We are a small, independent startup operating within the Cyfrowy Polsat and Polkomtel Group, building production AI/ML and data-intensive systems including recommender systems, distributed applications, and ML-powered products.

• Valid work permit for Poland and Polish tax residency
• Good working proficiency in Polish and English

• Appreciation for clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
• Strong Python programming skills
• Solid understanding of software design, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience developing software using modern AI/ML frameworks and tools such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
• Experience developing and deploying containerized applications with Docker
• Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB and/or Redis
• Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Experience with vector databases
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining test coverage

Nice to have:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Familiarity with message brokers or streaming platforms e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Experience with search and indexing technologies such as Elasticsearch

• Build and maintain AI/ML and data-intensive systems, including recommender systems and distributed applications
• Integrate AI/ML models and algorithms
• Conduct experiments related to AI/ML
• Perform backend development work
• Contribute to architectural and technological choices
• Collaborate in a remote-first environment
• Maintain respectful and collaborative communication
