Experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst / Proxy Product Owner role for a long-term enterprise project supporting insurance claims processes across multiple products and external partners. The platform includes complex business rules, multiple system integrations, REST APIs, and legacy Java components, undergoing a technology transformation within 12–24 months.
Wymagania
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Proxy Product Owner, Product Owner or comparable technical product role.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently with initially incomplete requirements.
- Experience with complex enterprise systems, system integrations or rule-heavy products.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and backend integrations.
- Hands-on experience using Postman and reading Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
- Good knowledge of relational databases and ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries for analysis and verification.
- Effective communication skills with software engineers and understanding of technical architecture and system dependencies.
- Experience with backlog management, requirements analysis and stakeholder communication.
- Good working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Experience using visual collaboration tools such as Miro or Excalidraw.
- Fluent, business-level English.
Nice to have:
- Experience in insurance, fintech, payments, travel, or another integration-heavy industry.
- Previous technical experience or familiarity with the Java ecosystem.
- Knowledge of SOAP services or legacy enterprise architectures.
- Experience with production support, incident investigation or incident triage.
- Experience working with multiple external partners and third-party integrations.
- French language skills.
- Comfortable using modern AI productivity tools to support analysis and documentation.
Obowiązki
Business Analysis & Product Ownership:
- Act as the key link between business stakeholders and the backend engineering team.
- Analyse complex business processes and rules across different insurance products and customer journeys.
- Turn business needs into clear requirements, specifications, user stories, and technical tasks.
- Own, refine, and prioritise the backlog, balancing new partner requirements with bug fixes and technical debt.
- Identify dependencies, edge cases, and potential business impact across interconnected systems.
- Challenge unclear requirements and proactively gather information to move delivery forward.
APIs & System Analysis:
- Work closely with backend engineers on translating business requirements into technically actionable solutions.
- Analyse REST APIs, endpoints, JSON payloads, and integration flows.
- Investigate communication between internal services and external partner systems.
- Use Postman, API documentation, and SQL queries to investigate issues and validate system behaviour.
- Support root-cause analysis of production problems before escalation.
- Navigate an existing legacy environment while helping maintain platform stability.
Delivery & Incident Management:
- Lead or actively contribute to backlog refinement and sprint planning.
- Follow delivery from initial analysis through implementation, deployment and validation.
- Triage production incidents and distinguish critical blockers from lower-priority defects.
- Coordinate issues across business and technical stakeholders.
- Maintain visibility into priorities, risks, dependencies, and blockers.
- Ensure that open topics are followed through to resolution rather than just handed over between teams.
