Optimizely Technical Lead

WPP Enterprise Solutions is the employer offering the position. The job is located in Poland with options in Poznań and Katowice and involves working with the Optimizely platform.

• Broad knowledge of Optimizely PasS CMS, Optimizely SasS CMS from backend and frontend perspectives.
• In-depth experience with Optimizely DXP, including deployment model, environment management, deployment API, configuration, upgrades, and production support.
• Strong experience with C#/.NET Core and ASP.NET Core covering content types, pages, blocks, media, templates, routing, dependency injection, scheduled jobs, APIs, integrations, and editor experience.
• Practical understanding of Optimizely DXP deployment and hosting concepts including environment configuration, deployment automation, logging, monitoring, and release management.
• Good understanding of content management systems and integration with external systems, APIs, search platforms, commerce systems, and third-party services.
• Broad knowledge of web technologies and modern web platform implementation.
• Experience delivering software throughout the full lifecycle from requirements gathering through production deployment and support.
• Experience providing technical leadership or managing a team of at least five members.
• Openness to mentoring and supporting the development of team members.
• Strong communication skills translating technical concepts into business language.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to identify, assess, and communicate technical risks, dependencies, and delivery constraints.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Optimizely Content Optimization Platform, Opal AI, Content Marketing Platform, Commerce, search & navigation, personalization, experimentation.
• Experience designing and implementing headless or composable solutions using Optimizely Content Graph.
• Experience with cloud-native solutions on Azure or AWS.
• Experience with automated infrastructure and deployment.
• Relevant Optimizely certifications or experience upgrading and maintaining Optimizely CMS solutions.

• Lead the implementation and technical delivery of Optimizely DXP for a global client.
• Lead requirements discovery and facilitate client-facing workshops.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to find solutions for technical and business challenges.
• Support team members with implementation tasks and code reviews, spending 20–30% time coding.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality code with automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment.
• Estimate and plan work with product owners, stakeholders, and project team.
• Help prioritize tasks and manage technical dependencies.
• Communicate with business and technical stakeholders about solutions, plans, and trade-offs.
• Contribute to evolution of Optimizely DXP delivery standards and reusable implementation patterns.

Candidates will collaborate with a UK project team and must be available until 18:00 Poland time.
