Atlassian Jira Engineer

Optimatis sp. z o.o. is an Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner working on advisory, implementation, development, and maintenance projects for national and international clients in areas including ITSM, ESM, PPM, CMDB, automation, and security management. They mainly use Jira Service Management, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related integrations supporting IT and business organizations.

• At least one year of practical experience in administration or configuration of Jira/Jira Service Management.
• Good knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence from both user and administrator perspectives.
• Ability to independently configure workflows, fields, screens, permissions, notifications, automations, and reports.
• Practical experience in migration projects from Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.
• Understanding of migration stages: readiness analysis, application and integration assessment, migration planning, testing, cutover, and post-migration support.
• Understanding of basic ITSM processes and their practical applications.
• Ability to communicate with clients, ask appropriate questions, and document arrangements.
• Fluent communication in English at a minimum B2 level, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work flexibly in a project mode, manage multiple tasks, and deliver agreed results.
• Self-reliant, responsible, and well-organized in work.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jira Service Management, Assets, and CMDB.
• Practical knowledge of Atlassian Cloud and Data Center.
• Experience in configuring PPM solutions, e.g., based on Jira or BigPicture, or security processes.
• Knowledge of Groovy, ScriptRunner, REST API, SQL, or integration tools.
• Knowledge of Linux and application log analysis.
• Certifications such as Atlassian ACP, ITIL, Agile, or PRINCE2.

• Configure and develop Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Design workflows, forms, screens, schemes, permissions, SLAs, queues, portals, and automations.
• Create solutions supporting ITSM and ESM processes such as incident, request, change, problem, knowledge, asset, and configuration management.
• Configure and develop Assets / CMDB.
• Build and develop PPM solutions managing initiatives, projects, tasks, backlogs, portfolios, and reporting.
• Configure solutions supporting security processes like incident handling, vulnerabilities, risks, controls, and compliance activities.
• Build native and scripted automations and integrate Atlassian products with client systems like Active Directory, monitoring tools, SIEM, MDM, ERP, or HR.
• Participate in migration projects from Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian Cloud, including readiness analysis, planning, testing, cutover, and post-migration support.
• Analyze technical requirements, conduct client workshops, diagnose problems, and prepare technical documentation.
• Support the sales team with technical evaluation of needs and proposed solutions.
