Senior Test Manager

• Minimum of 10 years experience as a Test Manager on complex projects
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, particularly unit testing and functional testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile environments

• Scrum knowledge

• Develop and document a detailed testing strategy for migrating mainframe assembler applications to Java/SQL on Linux
• Integrate testing methodologies including unit testing and functional testing into the testing framework
• Define and integrate appropriate testing tools such as X-Ray
• Coordinate and oversee testing activities, ensuring timelines and quality
• Support test execution including planning, environment setup, execution, and reporting
• Act as primary liaison between project stakeholders including architects, developers, and management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a small test team
• Assess resource needs, support hiring and training as project scales
• Monitor and report on testing progress, defects, and quality metrics
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance testing efficiency
• Produce comprehensive test documentation including test plans, test cases, and reports
