Lead Anaplan Model Builder

emagine Polska is hiring a Lead Anaplan Model Builder to work remotely across Europe on a 12-month B2B contract. The role involves designing and evolving high-performance Anaplan solutions with a strong emphasis on Sales Compensation Management and Incentive Compensation Management. The position supports strategic projects and influences a multi-module planning ecosystem covering over 50% of the company's workforce.

• Proven experience as an Anaplan Solution Architect or Senior Model Builder with preferred Anaplan certifications.
• 4+ years of dedicated Anaplan experience with a background in enterprise planning or financial/sales technology.
• Strong knowledge of Anaplan Way methodology and connected planning principles.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions with multiple end-to-end implementations.
• Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills engaging Finance, Sales, and Compensation leaders.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate autonomously in fast-changing environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clear documentation abilities.
• Business knowledge in FP&A processes, Sales Compensation/Incentive Compensation Management.
• Understanding of Sales, Revenue Operations or Go-To-Market processes in B2B/SaaS/digital media environment is a plus.
• Proactive engagement with Anaplan roadmap, AI trends, and industry best practices.
• Collaborative team player with mentoring and knowledge-sharing experience.

Anaplan Design & Development:

• Design, build and enhance Anaplan models following platform best practices (PLANS, DISCO, UX).
• Translate functional and technical designs into scalable Anaplan architectures.
• Manage deployment lifecycles across DEV / UAT / PROD environments using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Build and maintain data integrations with CRM, HRIS, Data Warehouse systems.
• Monitor, tune and optimize model performance and calculation efficiency.
• Design intuitive UX pages that enable self-service and reduce IT dependency.
• Apply naming conventions, version control, and model governance standards.

Business Requirements Gathering & Translation:

• Lead and contribute to scoping workshops and functional specification sessions with Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations.
• Balancing stakeholder needs against system consistency, ROI, maintainability, and scalability.
• Define and prioritize user stories and backlogs.
• Produce and maintain clear technical and functional documentation.
• Support end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Hypercare, including training and troubleshooting.
• Act as a trusted advisor translating ambiguous needs into actionable solutions.

Sales Compensation & Planning Expertise:

• Design and evolve Sales Compensation / Incentive Compensation models.
• Support FP&A planning cycles including budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure models are compliant, auditable, and aligned with finance/HR policies.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

• Monitor and assess new Anaplan platform features and UX capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation including AI/ML and generative AI tools.
• Propose improvements to business processes end to end.
• Contribute to Anaplan Center of Excellence by sharing best practices.
