Senior 3D Motion Designer

CD PROJEKT RED creates revolutionary, story-driven RPGs. The role belongs to the Publishing department within the Studio project in Warsaw.

• 8+ years of experience in the motion design field.
• Advanced mastery of After Effects and 3D software such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya, including rendering (Octane, Redshift), texturing, and lighting.
• Strong foundation in graphic design, layout, composition, color theory, and typography using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Proven ability to create storyboards, style frames, and visual look-dev treatments to define campaign directions.
• Experience in color correction, VFX, and post production.
• Experience setting up scalable project files, modular templates, and typography systems for multi-language global releases across various aspect ratios.
• Deep understanding of game dev marketing formats including gameplay trailers, social teasers, localized ads.
• Ability to manage time across fast-paced production cycles while prioritizing quality and technical precision.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Substance 3D Painter & ZBrush for custom texturing and high-to-low poly workflows to enhance game assets for marketing deliverables.

• End-to-end creation of high-quality 2D and 3D animations tailored to specific project goals and brand standards.
• Design and preparation of optimized static assets specifically tailored for animation workflows.
• Development of style frames, storyboards, and look-dev treatments to define visual direction for complex projects.
• Interpretation of creative briefs and strict application of brand style guides maintaining creative integrity.
• Building flexible animation templates and design systems for multiple languages, typography formats, and aspect ratios.
• Championing a collaborative, positive, and inclusive creative environment with mentorship.

The position requires working in-office in Warsaw, Poland with a hybrid model (minimum 3 days at office).
