Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst (m/f/n) to join our client's team carrying out a project for one of the EU institutions in Warsaw.

• Higher education.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT, with minimum 3 years in a similar position.
• English language skills at B2/C1 level.
• Experience participating in at least one complete software solution lifecycle.
• Knowledge of business process modelling using BPMN notation.
• Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis.
• Proficiency with analysis/modelling notations such as UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model).
• Proficient in modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience as a BA for a large-scale project (>1 year duration, >€1M budget) involving deployment of enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience analyzing business processes in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management, Financial Management, Legal, HR, and Project Management.
• Experience in business analysis considering Microsoft technologies: SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse.
• Experience in business analysis considering capabilities of Service Now platform (custom applications and standard modules including Enterprise Assets Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Customer Service Management in on-prem and cloud setups).

• Models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data.
• Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements and user stories.
• Supports business experts and product owners during definition of requirements and software development.
• Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories in systems lifecycle.
• Transfers business, users and technical needs into business requirements specification.
• Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features.
• Analyses available systems.
• Supports identification of options for potential solutions.
• Supports preparation of business cases and feasibility studies.
• Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management.
• Responsible for designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence.
• Responsible for planning and managing programmes for continuous improvements of business processes.
• Responsible for coaching staff on upcoming changes, ensuring training plans for new skills/process changes.
• Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to seek process improvements.
• Identifies opportunities for business process improvements to improve service, reduce costs, or increase revenue.
• Communicates project objectives, business case, requirements, and scope to stakeholders.
• Quantitatively analyses business processes, performs cost-benefit and what-if analysis.
• Plans organizational change processes.
• Implements performance monitoring systems for business processes.
• Supports business users in developing strategic and tactical plans.
• Supports definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures.
