Senior Software Engineer (Node.js)

Miquido is a company centered around AI technologies integrated into backend development. The role involves working with AI-driven backend solutions and integration layers for e-commerce, payment gateways, and LLM APIs in a team of 3 to 5 multidisciplinary people.

• Real curiosity and proactive engagement with new backend and AI tools.
• English proficiency at C1 level to serve as the technical voice in front of clients.
• At least 5+ years of commercial backend experience, including 3+ years with Node.js and TypeScript, and production experience with NestJS.
• Expert knowledge of modern TypeScript and ES6+, API design in REST and GraphQL, contract-first work with OpenAPI.
• Advanced SQL on PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization, experience with TypeORM or Prisma, and familiarity with queues, message buses, workers, and scheduled jobs.
• Experience deploying services to at least one cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP), Docker, CI/CD basics, three-environment workflows, Git, and code review practices.
• Daily fluency with coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex, using agent outputs as specifications.
• Ability to communicate technical limitations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Own a backend end to end: design the service, build it, ship it, and defend decisions in front of the client.
• Build integration layers over external systems such as e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and LLM APIs.
• Work with modern AI tooling and continuously adapt to new technologies as they emerge.

The contract duration is approximately 6 months with possible extension. Personal data will be processed by Miquido Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością sp. k. in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. The candidate must have English proficiency at C1 and Polish at B2 level.
