DevOps Engineer

EXATEL is a Polish telecommunications operator and cybersecurity service provider. They have built the second largest fiber optic network in Poland and are expanding an international network. They conduct R&D in ICT, creating own solutions such as network devices (SDN) and cybersecurity software (TAMA - proprietary anti-DDoS). They also provide satellite connectivity services based on their own teleport.

• Experience in administering Linux systems
• Experience with virtualization administration, specifically Proxmox or similar
• Experience with application containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Experience with application deployment using GitOps methodologies (ArgoCD)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with CI/CD and code repository tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Sonar, Nexus, Artifactory, Git)
• Experience creating automation to support production teams in building, testing, and deploying applications
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues
• Experience implementing DevOps practices in cooperation with development teams

Nice to have:

• Experience building and maintaining monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools (SAST/DAST, image and dependency scanning) in CI/CD processes
• Knowledge of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Experience working with Hardware in the Loop (HIL) or hardware environments
• Experience automating processes using low-code tools like n8n
• Knowledge of automated testing tools
• Experience administering SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience working in agile teams and active participation in requirement definition and solution acceptance

• Collaborate with production teams to implement and automate services and application modules
• Research, test, and implement tools and processes to improve and accelerate production team workflows
• Plan, expand, and administer CI/CD systems including virtualization, containerization, and orchestration
• Support resolving current infrastructure, network, and system performance issues
• Collaborate with infrastructure administrators to ensure environment stability
• Support and promote good DevOps practices
