Senior DevOps Engineer - fully remote within Europe (m/f/d)

• 4+ years of experience operating large-scale, distributed production systems.
• Expert-level Linux administration skills including storage and networking.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and traditional data center environments.
• Proven experience with deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Solid knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Experience delivering infrastructure services across multiple countries.
• High standards for quality, strong ownership, and team spirit.

• Keep web applications and services running smoothly, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Optimize system performance and cost using advanced tools.
• Scale infrastructure to support a growing global user base.
• Refine deployment and release processes for efficiency and safety.
• Assist product teams in setting up and improving GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with development teams.
• Work with an international team of engineers across time zones.
• Become a go-to person for infrastructure support and take ownership of maintenance tasks within the first 3 months.
• Be fully ramped up and join the on-call rotation by month 6.
