Principal Solutions Architect (Frontend Focused)

• Experience leading front-end architecture decisions for distributed engineering teams (3+ people) for 3+ years.
• Deep proficiency in React, Next.js (App Router, React Server Components), and TypeScript.
• Proven experience architecting enterprise commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce).
• Strong expertise in performance engineering and Core Web Vitals optimisation (LCP, CLS, INP, caching, CDN).
• Experience structuring specifications, documentation, and tasks for AI agent execution tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity, Contentstack).
• Experience architecting headless commerce or composable storefronts.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with SCAYLE.
• Track record working across distributed, asynchronous teams in multiple time zones.

• Own front-end architecture using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Lead decisions on SSR, edge/serverless rendering, state management, caching, and Core Web Vitals, documenting choices in ADRs.
• Break down epics into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria and complexity estimates.
• Define coding standards optimized for engineers and AI agents.
• Work directly with clients during discovery to translate business needs into technical architecture roadmaps.
• Resolve technical ambiguity and unblock distributed engineering teams.
