Remote Systems Engineer

• Experience working in enterprise environments with good understanding of enterprise-level system design including hardened environments and centralized security and operations
• Extensive Linux System Administration experience (RHCE-applicable level), minimum 4 years
• Good experience with Amazon Web Services and related products, minimum 4 years
• Knowledge and understanding of container technologies such as docker, vanilla kubernetes, EKS, and ECS
• Fundamental networking knowledge
• Experience with storages, clustering, load balancing, server provisioning, management, and virtualization
• Understanding of ITIL principles (plus)
• Strong advocacy of security
• Good understanding of classic and modern technology stacks
• English language proficiency at B2 conversational level

• Participate in system administration activities including design, planning, technical strategy, and systems architecture
• Configuration, deployment and maintenance of systems
• Work continuously on system improvement and efficiency, including rollout times of deployments globally
• Document procedures and fill knowledgebase
• Monitor systems performance and capacity
• Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
• Ensure compliance with regulations and certifications
• Collaborate intensively with DevOps Engineers and developers on automation and containerization
• Work actively with Systems Engineers and DevOps IaC teams to develop and improve automation and infrastructure deployment
• Cooperate with QA and Development teams to improve software development efficiency
