Sr. Software Engineer

• Desire to work as a “full stack” developer on customer-facing software and web services.
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional experience designing, coding, and testing web applications.
• Proficiency with HTML/CSS to build web pages matching designs.
• Proficiency with Java and Java frameworks (preferably Spring Boot).
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably React).
• Knowledge of SQL and fundamentals of relational database design.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results with limited oversight.
• Knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Comfort using or learning AI-supported tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot) to improve daily workflows.
• Forward-thinking, curious mindset with openness to experimenting with new technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and creativity.

• Design, code, and debug all assigned features.
• Work closely with the team and engineering leadership to ensure design, performance, and security standards.
• Analyze application problem areas and propose solutions.
• Plan and execute unit and functional tests to meet requirements.
• Learn and utilize new technologies, concepts, and procedures as appropriate.
• Partner with the Product team to translate healthcare workflows into software.
• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly for debugging, log analysis, and code generation.
• Contribute to system design discussions and help shape scalable, maintainable architecture.
• Improve observability through logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerting best practices.
• Collaborate in sprint planning to improve estimation and development flow.
• Actively participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical discussions.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI or automation in role tasks.
• Deliver new features and enhancements that meet customer and business needs.
• Suggest ideas for technical enhancements and become an expert in team technologies.
• Become a strong partner with product and support teams.
