Automotive Test Engineer (OTA Validation)

• Experience in automotive software testing and vehicle validation
• Hands-on experience with OTA updates
• Knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures and software deployment processes
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g. CANoe, CAPL, Python, Robot Framework)
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, UDS, DoIP)
• Experience with requirements and test management tools
• Knowledge of ASPICE verification and validation processes
• Driving licence and willingness to perform vehicle test drives
• English for daily communication
• German language proficiency at least B1/B2 level

Nice to have:

• Experience with XRAY, ALM tools such as STARC
• Experience across multiple vehicle platforms and ECU domains

• Create test specifications and test cases for OTA updates
• Execute vehicle-level validation tests
• Perform vehicle test drives and analyse results
• Develop and maintain automated test scenarios
• Track and report defects using test management tools
• Collaborate with software, system, integration, and validation teams

Position requires driving license and willingness to perform vehicle test drives. Role is located onsite in Sindelfingen, Germany, with remote work mode indicated. Required language skills include English and German (at least B1/B2).
