QA Automation Tester (Data & API Testing)

Scalo is a company delivering software projects and supporting its partners in business development. They work across software, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in testing applications, data warehouses, or data pipelines
• Experience in test automation
• Very good knowledge of SQL
• Experience in testing REST API and/or SOAP
• Experience with data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, and large data volumes
• Knowledge of Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, and database tools
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools
• Ability to analyze requirements and independently define test scope
• Highly developed analytical skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in the financial, banking, or insurance sector

• Participation in a project to develop a new solution generating batches for BIK
• Designing and developing manual and automated tests for data warehouse-based solutions
• Creating data tests, integration tests, and data pipeline tests
• Designing and developing automated regression tests
• Testing REST API and SOAP services
• Verifying correctness of data flow between systems, integration layer, and data warehouse
• Validating ETL/ELT processes and analyzing data quality
• Preparing SQL queries for data validation
• Analyzing errors between application, API, and data warehouse
• Collaborating with business analysts, programmers, and data teams
• Service delivery in hybrid mode (1 day a week from client office in Warsaw)

Service delivery mode is hybrid with 1 day per week in the client office located in Warsaw.
