Data Business Analyst

This role supports the DRRP project in the banking industry, focusing on understanding data sources, data flow across databases and systems, and transformations applied to data.

• Good understanding of relational databases and data structures
• Basic practical knowledge of SQL
• Experience with data mapping, data flows, or data lineage
• Ability to understand technical documentation and translate technical information into structured documentation
• Experience working with both technical and business stakeholders
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with data governance / metadata management
• IBM IGC experience

• Reviewing existing databases, tables, data structures, and technical documentation
• Understanding end-to-end data flows across different systems
• Mapping data from source → transformation → target
• Identifying dependencies between databases, applications, and systems
• Creating and maintaining data lineage documentation
• Updating data lineage information in IBM IGC
• Collaborating with developers, data engineers, system owners, and business stakeholders to gather missing information
• Identifying gaps or inconsistencies in existing documentation
• Documenting data sources, transformations, and target systems
• Coordinating information across stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy

Work model: Hybrid - 2/3 times per week from the office in Warsaw
