Senior Android Engineer

• Extensive Android engineering background with 7+ years of experience
• Experience working on at least two large native Android applications
• Solid experience programming in Kotlin
• Deep understanding of MV concepts, mobile threading, and memory management in mobile applications
• Fundamental understanding of complex data structures and algorithms
• Ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data for UX development
• Creative problem-solving skills and initiative in pushing projects forward
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to validate and clearly communicate decisions

• Build secure, privacy-focused Android applications using Kotlin, Maestro, and Graphite
• Work on projects including Privacy Pro support, autofill improvements, and phishing & malware protection
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective UX solutions
• Take full ownership of projects from scoping and execution to postmortem
• Attend meetings on camera via video conferencing
• Travel twice yearly for all-hands meetup and team retreat (4-5 days each)
