Devops Engineer

co.brick is building a cloud-native commerce solution running on Kubernetes with a focus on infrastructure excellence and automation.

• 4+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine).
• Expert in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Pragmatic mindset balancing new development and platform stability.
• Effective communication in Polish and English (minimum B2).
• Ability to thrive in a startup-like environment with high ownership.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with OWASP standards and automated security testing tools (e.g., OWASP Dependency-Check).
• Deep understanding of microservices and distributed systems architecture.
• Experience with observability stacks like New Relic or Data Dog.
• Prior experience in fast-paced, growth-stage companies.

Infrastructure Design & Evolution:

• Collaborate with the DevOps Team Lead to design, build, and scale cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Support developers running headless e-commerce on Kubernetes ensuring reproducible, efficient environments.
• Continuously improve infrastructure and stay ahead of technology trends.

Operational Excellence & Maintenance:

• Own platform stability and reliability, balancing new capabilities with system maintenance.
• Refine CI/CD processes and automation for smooth, frequent deployments.
• Handle production support by investigating and resolving infrastructure issues.

Monitoring & Security:

• Use cloud-native tools to monitor system health and proactively prevent failures.
• Implement security best practices baked into automation and infrastructure.
• Optimize system performance and cloud costs through data-driven tuning.

Collaboration & Mentorship:

• Work closely with DevOps Lead and Engineering team bridging code and production.
• Document infrastructure configurations, automation workflows, disaster recovery.
• Share knowledge and best practices to foster DevOps culture.
