Test Automation Expert/Architect

NTT DATA Business Solutions is hiring a Test Automation Architect / QA Automation Lead for remote/hybrid work based in Poznań. The role involves shaping quality and automation standards across multiple project teams.

• Extensive experience in automated testing and designing automation frameworks.
• Experience building test automation architecture from scratch.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD processes and pipeline integration.
• Experience optimizing test processes and auditing existing solutions.
• Ability to manage and generate test data.
• Excellent knowledge of modern testing methods and ability to tailor them to project specifics.
• Mentoring skills to support QA specialists' development.

Tools and technologies:

• Web test frameworks: Cypress, Playwright, pytest
• API testing: Postman, SoapUI, Bruno
• Programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript (Python and Java are welcome)
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
• Test management: Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps (HP ALM as a plus)
• Test reporting: Allure Report, Mocha or similar

Nice to have:

• Experience with mobile test automation (e.g., Appium)
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6, NeoLoad)
• Knowledge of BrowserStack
• Practical use of AI in testing and quality assurance
• Experience with GitHub Copilot and prompt engineering for test case generation
• Knowledge of Accessibility Testing (WCAG)

• Design and develop test automation architecture for different projects and teams.
• Create test automation strategies and implement QA best practices.
• Audit existing test solutions and recommend improvements.
• Introduce automation to projects lacking this approach.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD processes.
• Manage test data and solutions supporting its generation.
• Select appropriate tools, frameworks, and testing methods per project needs.
• Mentor and coach QA and development teams.
• Promote quality culture and raise quality awareness in the organization.
