• Minimum 6 years of documented experience in software test automation, preferably in complex enterprise environments
• Knowledge of QA methodologies including test planning, design, execution, defect management, regression testing, and continuous quality improvement
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
• Proficiency in automation using Java 17+, object-oriented programming, Clean Code principles, POJO-based design patterns
• Practical experience with API testing stack in Java: RESTAssured, JUnit 5, Lombok
• Understanding of REST architecture, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON/XML payloads; knowledge of SOAP/WSDL contracts and test design
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs, integration flows, backend services, and data distribution processes
• Use of test reporting tools, especially Allure, including attaching request/response evidence and error categorization
• Skilled in SQL queries and database testing including data validation and backend process verification
• Experience testing integrations including asynchronous flows, Kafka, data pipelines, event-driven architecture
• Practical knowledge of test and defect management tools such as qTest and Jira
• Advanced Git skills including branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development), pull requests, code review, conflict resolution
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins and/or Bamboo, including configuration and maintenance of test jobs and pipeline stages
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum ceremonies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Fluent communication skills in English (C1) to report testing scope, risks, defects, progress, and quality recommendations
• Proactive approach encouraging an “Automation First” culture
• Experience preparing and maintaining test evidence, automation reporting, and coverage documentation

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with UI testing using Selenium or Playwright

• Design and implement automated tests for APIs, integration processes, and data flows
• Develop and maintain existing test automation frameworks
• Participate in defining and evolving automation strategies and design scalable, maintainable test frameworks
• Create regression tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Support the adoption of an “Automation First” approach
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, Product Owners, and other teams within MDM ART
• Automate both new functionalities and existing products
• Analyze test results and prepare test evidence
• Use AI and GitHub Copilot to enhance test automation efficiency
• Mentor less experienced team members in test automation
