3D Artist / Generalist (Mid) | Unreal Engine, Symulatory Lotnicze

MK Studios is an independent studio operating since 2013, creating simulation games, professional training simulators, and DLC add-ons for flight simulators and aviation-related games. Their portfolio includes training solutions for the aviation industry, proprietary products based on Unity and Unreal Engine, and extensions for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in modeling and texturing
• Strong knowledge of Blender or 3ds Max, Substance Painter, and Adobe Photoshop
• Proficient in UV work: trim sheets, atlases, preparing models for texturing, maintaining texel density, projections
• Ability to manage textures and materials creating visually consistent models
• Modeling based on references such as technical drawings and photos
• Creating PBR materials based on photos and references, e.g., in Substance
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine
• Experience with Jira / ClickUp
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level
• Portfolio demonstrating completed models and textures

Nice to have:

• General knowledge of mechanical elements useful for vehicle modeling
• Experience in hard surface modeling
• Work with Material Library
• Interest in aviation

• Modeling airport buildings and objects
• Creating environmental assets and airport surroundings
• Texturing and creating PBR materials
• Transferring and adapting existing airports from MSFS to Unreal Engine
• Occasionally modeling and refining ground support equipment (vehicles, devices, and equipment)
• Optimizing 3D models
