GCP & Agentic AI Platform Engineer

ING Hubs Poland is developing a Data Analytics Platform in Google Cloud to help ING be more data driven. The work is part of a multinational and multicultural distributed team using agile, lean, and design thinking methodologies. The role is within the AAI Delivery & Transformation organization and is aligned with the global ING job architecture named "Engineer IV".

• 4+ years of experience with GCP
• Experience building data platforms on GCP using managed services: Cloud Run, Vertex AI, GKE, BigQuery, Dataproc
• Experience building infrastructure automation services using Golang
• Infrastructure as Code mindset (experience with Terraform)
• Experience with deployment and provisioning automation tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Ability to clearly express ideas, facts, and opinions and collaborate effectively
• Understanding of networking concepts including VPC, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in secure authentication and encrypted workloads (e.g., OIDC, KMS, client/server SSL/TLS)
• Contribution to Open-Source projects
• Automate everything mindset

• Building a platform and supporting its tenants
• Maintaining components of the data analytics platform
• Developing architecture and conducting experiments
• Preparing cloud-ready and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) based solutions
• Managing monitoring and alerting for the platform
• Providing on-call support to users
